Beimnet Zewdu is a passionate and driven Software Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Addis Ababa University. Currently, Beimnet works as a Software Engineer at Databricks, a data and AI company that provides solutions to unify data, analytics, and AI. In this role, he contributes to the development of the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, which is used by more than 7,000 organizations worldwide, including Fortune 500 companies like Comcast and H&M. Prior to joining Databricks, Beimnet served as the Head of Education at a2sv - Africa to Silicon Valley, where he upskilled high-potential African students, connected them with top Silicon Valley companies, and created digital solutions to urgent problems in their home countries. He also co-founded Eskalate, where he worked on the front-end development of a COVID-19 symptom tracking web app, tracksym.app, and the company's website, eskalate.io, using Vue.js. Beimnet's technical expertise includes Databricks, AI, web development, Spark, Vue.js, Javascript, and front-end development. He has relevant experience of 1.27 years and is committed to continuous learning and development in his field. In his free time, Beimnet enjoys playing football and video games with his friends.
